Instrument Refresher Course

If you are looking to refresh your instrument skills or stay current, we offer an instrument refresher course.  The course will be completed in an R44 and includes 5 hours of ground and 5 hours of flight in an R44. 

The ground will be a review of instruments and equipment, maneuvers, ATC, flight planning, navigational equipment and more.  The flights will cover the instrument PTS.  If you have let your instrument rating lapse, the last flight will be an instrument proficiency check.

Instrument Proficiency Check

If your Instrument rating has expired and you are only looking to renew your currency, we also offer an instrument proficiency check.

Pricing includes a 1.5 hour flight and a 1.5 hour ground.

The Instrument Proficiency Check will consist of the minimums prescribed for an IPC in the instrument rating practical test standards.  A copy can be obtained here.  Approaches will be completed at a nearby airport.  Our R44 is an instrument trainer equipped with an HSI and Garmin 430.
